VORCAN: The Art Of Collaboration
In October 2006, two prolific artists, Vort and Cank, started an art production company and abstract consulting firm called VORCAN.com in Philadelphia. They began Collaboratively Painting Live Music of all genres in a variety of venues and events throughout Philadelphia and New York City.
Using the music and environment as inspiration, Vort and Cank, create fine art using collaborative imagery. VORCAN has painted over 250 events in The United States and across Europe. In addition to painting live music, Vort and Cank paint every day in the studio. VORCAN often take their “Painting Live Music” performances to buyer's homes for commission, creating the painting in front of the collector.

VORCAN is looking to become a dominant force in the New York and Philadelphia art scene. They currently have work hanging in the Love Park Welcome Center (John F. Kennedy Plaza, Philadelphia) as well as Old City Publishing Gallery, 628 N. 2nd Street Philadelphia.
In March, VORCAN will be embarking on their most important adventure to date. They will be creating 50 paintings in 50 states in 50 days. Starting the second week in March, Vort and Cank will begin painting various landmarks, concerts, and events across all 50 states. Vort and Cank will post daily on 50DollarLunch.com about their adventures; posting the painting created in each state. VORCAN will end their 50/50/50 journey in their home state, Pennsylvania. All 50 works created throughout the United States will be on display in a prominent Philadelphia gallery.
