VORCAN is back on the East Coast and ready for Phish tour! After a 3 day drive across the country from the Bay Area to Philadelphia, PA, we made it to Fenway Stadium in Boston, MA for first show of Phish's summer tour. We had not been back in Boston since our 50 paintings in 50 States in 50 days tour last year. Fenway is a legendary ballpark and it was quite an honor for everyone to be able to celebrate Phish in such a historic place. The rain came and went before the show began, allowing the sky to open up and the sun to beam down. A fantastic rainbow formed over Fenway, was a beautiful day at the ballpark. Phish walked out of the dugout and to the pitcher's mound to perform "Star Spangled Banner" a capella; an appropriate beginning to a stellar night of music. With a slew of new songs and a healthy glow about them, it is safe to say that Phish is back!.

It was great to meet up with many friends old and new. More and more words as tour continues, we are rushing back to Jersey to work on an Ocelot painting. We will painting in the lot at Jones Beach tomorrow as well as a POST PHISH AFTER PARTY! With our good friends The Bridge! The Bridge will be performing at Nutty Irishman (323 Main St.,Farmingdale, NY) at midnight. If you haven't seen The Bridge, they are one of the best bands performing in the country today and you will not be disappointed! More words and pics tomorrow, we'll be reporting from the field.
